I thought often of the filters we each have- our cultural filters - and how these impact our perspectives: what we see and how we interpret what we see.

I saw Senegal through my grid. Another person will see it differently. I am learning to hear, listen to, accept and act on my intuitions, knowing they are but one way of seeing the world around me.
